Connect an environment and confirm readiness

Environments define where automation can run. Chilla stays account-scoped and does not hold your funds.

Where to find this

  • Dashboard top-right button: Add Automation Environment.
  • Sidebar item: Connect Chilla.
  • Environment management page: Automation Environment Settings (`broker-settings.html`).
  • When no environment is connected, the page shows No Environments Connected with a Connect Environment button.

What you can do here

  • Connect a new environment.
  • Verify connection status and account readiness.
  • Choose which connected environment is active.
  • Disconnect an account without deleting other setup context.

Before you connect

  • Have access credentials for the target environment account.
  • Confirm you are using the correct account context.
  • Complete any required account-level verification steps.
  • Check plan limits for number of environment connections.

Connect an environment

  1. Open Pick Automation Environment. Use dashboard plus button or Connect Chilla.
  2. Select provider. Current options are Deriv and cTrader.
  3. Authorize provider login. Chilla returns to dashboard after callback.
  4. Confirm connection state. Dashboard and environment settings should show connected account details.
  5. Set active account. Use Switch Account or account selector controls before creating/updating instructions.

Connection states and what they mean

How do I know which environment is active?

Check instruction context and environment status cards before activation.

Does Beaverly hold my funds after connection?

No. Funds remain in your own environment account.
